Deep dark red in colour with lovely cedary characters on the nose along with stewed plums, soy bean and Christmas cake. This vintage port can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to ten years.
The New Norcia Abbey Vintage Port is made from old Shiraz vines grown on the certified organic vineyard at the foot of Bindoon Hill.
The vineyard is dry grown and the fruit handpicked. The lack of irrigation leads to a greater fruit intensity and character as well as seasonal variations. Rainfall influences the amount of moisture available while variations in temperature, particularly at picking, can also have a significant effect on the vintage.
