A traditional liqueur carefully blended from very old stock. It is a vibrant and silky smooth Muscat with complex spice, coffee, date and caramel flavours.
This vintage is made by our Vintner using grapes from the estate, 49 kilometres south of New Norcia and cellared in the ancient wine cellars beneath the Monastery in ideal conditions to mature. It is made from old muscatel vines grown on a certified organic vineyard.
The vineyard is dry grown and the fruit handpicked and selected. The lack of irrigation leads to greater fruit flavour and intensity and character as well as seasonal variation. The rainfall variations influence the amount of moisture available while the variations in temperature, particularly at picking, can also have a significant effect on the vintage.
