To mark that anniversary, New Norcia Studies Day this year is delighted to be able to present papers by Tom Stephens OAM on \u003cem\u003eFerrolana\u003c\/em\u003e and another on Jerome by Gillian Rodoreda, Jerome’s great-grand-daughter. These papers will be complemented later in the year by the launch of the \u003cem\u003eMarsá Diary\u003c\/em\u003e, translated by Abbot Placid Spearritt scholar, Marta Pérez-Rey. In addition, Emeritus Professor John Kinder will speak about Bishop Salvado’s great friend, Canon Raffaele Martelli, whilst Jim Longbottom will present his paper on the beautiful dome (pictured) in St Gertrude's College Chapel and its relationship to an enigmatic poem that appears at the end of the 1916 Monastery Chronicle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRegistration opens at 9.00 in St Gertrude’s College and the proceedings start at 10.15\u003c\/strong\u003e.
